ILAW is Finally Here!
DepEd Order No. 016, s. 2026 introduces the ILAW Framework as a new, simplified guide for lesson planning in basic education. It replaces existing lesson plan formats and focuses on four key parts: Intentions, Learning Experiences, Assessment, and Ways Forward. The framework aims to reduce teachers’ documentation load while strengthening learner-centered instruction and aligning lessons more clearly with learning outcomes.
